It is hard to put other actors above Tom Welling, as the star had ten seasons to develop his Clark Kent in Smallville. Ultimately, Christopher Reeve still stands as the most iconic take on Superman with a perfect dual performance, but David Corenswet could change things in 2025's Superman.

With the fourquel set to be the final mainline installment in the horror franchise, the interconnected universe's future remains in question, with no Annabelle or Nun sequels currently in the works, and the previously announced TV show getting no major updates in recent years, it seems like the end is indeed nigh. Despite the Nun's underwhelming storytelling, the Conjuring franchise should continue and offer other rising filmmakers the chance to shine, as Annabelle: Creation did with David F. Channing Tatum finally takes on the role of Gambit in Deadpool & Wolverine and fans are loving it, myself included. One of the best "cameos" of the movie, his performance is being prasied all over social media. I would love to see Channing return as Gambit, however it is hard to say when a Gambit movie would fit into the MCU's plans. After just this small taste of him, I cannot see anyone else in the role. He did a great job with the accent, and he looked incredible in the costume - not to mention those awesome action sequences. That said, while the show has certainly toyed with life-or-death stakes even prior to this season, I can't envision any other characters actually meeting their ends this season, as the stakes already feel at enough of an all-time high that closing out the show on a more modest note would make more sense. That said, if any more deaths were to occur int eh final episodes, I'd have to imagine it'd be Kreese, Silver, or both, in order for them to get their just desserts for their years of torment.

The Traitors season 3 finally saw Survivor legend Boston Rob Mariano’s downfall in the most recent episode, and while I’m a huge fan of the longtime reality TV star, I wasn’t sad to see Boston Rob’s exit. Throughout The Traitors season 3, Rob’s had a tough time as a player and working with his fellow Traitors has been impossible. After seeing him move forward with murder after murder without much support, it seemed like Carolyn Wiger and Danielle Reyes were going to do anything to get Rob out.

Do you think Sentry is Val's actual Avengers replacement?

Rather than trying to assemble the Thunderbolts intentionally, I think Val's plan inThunderbolts*was to originally offer The Sentry as the new Avengers replacement, only for the plan to go sideways with the emergence of The Void. My best guess is that Val and Bucky will bring the team together in a desperate way to try to stop the new threat. I would explain why Val doesn't have much faith in the team in the new trailer.

Would you like the MCU to be rebooted and recast heroes like Captain America and Iron Man?

There are rumors that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will go through a reboot after Avengers: Secret Wars, andI would welcome that. Even though it would be weird to lose some of the franchise's key stars and keep their heroes, I'd prefer to recast characters like Steve Rogers and Tony Stark to see them alongside the X-Men and the Fantastic Four than to have the MCU continue without them. It would also fit with the Secret Wars event from the comics, which is perfect and would make the franchise more accessible to new viewers.

Which movie premiering at SXSW 2025 are you most excited for?

SXSW knows how to deliver a film line-up that has something for everyone. There are always several big titles premiering and 2025 is no different. This year the ones I am most excited for are Death Of A Unicorn, The Accountant 2, and Another Simple Favor. Two of them are sequels to great films, so fingers crossed they meet expectations. The one I am most excited about, however, is Death Of A Unicorn. The cast alone - Jenna Ortega, Will Poulter, and Paul Rudd - makes me think this is going to be an unforgettable movie. Then add in the premise that a father and daughter accidentally hit and kill a unicorn? I am all in.

My biggest hope for the newJurassic World Rebirthmovie is that it will be as scary as the originalJurassic Parktrilogy.
